Mission

The mission of the American Medical Systems, Inc. (AMS) Investigator-Sponsored Research (ISR) program is to provide support for independent research that drives innovation, advances medical and scientific knowledge in pelvic medicine, and provides health care decision-makers, including physicians, purchasers and payers, data to make informed decisions about treatment options for patients. This is a global program open to all research scientists who are interested in obtaining AMS support for conducting their own research.

AMS recognizes and supports the vital role medical research plays in generating valuable scientific and clinical information that leads to innovative treatments, improved health care delivery, improved clinical care, and other advances that benefit patients specifically. Investigator-Sponsored Research is initiated externally and conducted independent of AMS.
